Other topics

1. Prepare the catalog first

Select the shop and review its saleable products, categories, prices, VAT, options and packaging rules. Kiosk presentation uses these records; a menu image does not replace an item’s actual price or availability. Correct missing content before publishing.

2. Arrange the kiosk menu

Open Kiosk → Menu. Choose the intended categories and products, their order and available choices. Review required versus optional selections and check the preview with a realistic basket, including packaging charges where configured.

3. Publish the intended configuration

Open Publishing and review the draft and target devices. Publish the intended version. Publication is the desired configuration; it does not prove that an offline kiosk has downloaded or applied it. Keep the previous publication available for the supported rollback action.

4. Check downloaded and applied status

Review each device’s reported publication identity and synchronization state. The foreground kiosk normally checks its configuration every 30 seconds. A downloaded change waits for a safe idle/session boundary rather than replacing the customer’s active checkout. Confirm Applied on the intended device and inspect its screen.

Important: checkout still validates the order

Delaying the visible menu during an active session does not guarantee an old price or permit an unavailable product. The customer order is validated again before payment. Temporary availability and permanent published menu content are separate controls.

Available features depend on your shop configuration, permissions and supported devices.
