Other topics

1. Check the station

Sign in, verify the shop and register, and open the shift with the actual opening cash. Check the device status for the payment terminal and the printers you use.

2. Build the cart

Open New sale, add products and choose their options. Add an item note only when the kitchen needs it. Confirm quantities, prices and any discount before checkout.

3. Choose how the order is served

In checkout, select Dine-in or Takeaway. Review the summary, then choose the payment method. Select the method the customer will actually use.

4. Follow the payment

For card payments, send the amount once and follow the POS and terminal prompts. Keep the payment screen open while it is in progress. A connection acknowledgment is not an approval. If the result needs verification, check that original transaction before charging again.

5. Prepare and hand over

After the sale is recorded, find the same order number in Orders. Follow Preparing, Ready and Handed over. Check any receipt or kitchen-print issue in the linked details; changing preparation status does not change the payment.
