Start with the original operation

Open the sale or order that has the problem. Note its order number, payment reference and time. Keep payment, fiscal receipt and kitchen ticket results separate. A printed item or a positive amount is not a reliable substitute for the final payment result.

Connection test versus payment test

A successful connection test only establishes communication. A separate payment test sends an amount and may charge a real card. A technician payment test does not prove that ordinary order creation and printing are working.

When a payment needs verification

Follow the status-check action for the original attempt and compare it with the terminal record or provider evidence. Do not interpret an unknown result as a decline or start another charge to find out what happened. Keep a clear record if staff have to resolve the transaction.

When paper does not print

Check which document was expected and which printer owns it. A non-fiscal confirmation, kitchen ticket, payment slip and fiscal receipt are different documents. Check the saved connection, power, paper and diagnostic result. A successful transport send does not prove paper emerged.

When a fiscal sale is cancelled or refunded

Keep the original issued receipt and sale history. Cancelling an order does not erase an issued fiscal receipt or create a negative fiscal sale automatically. Follow the administrator’s correction or refund process and keep the required evidence.
